| The EU League |

As promised, with little delay, some info and news on the biggest and hippest thing in AQ2 right now - the European League 09!
We have had leagues in AQ2 before and for most of them it just wasn't meant to be. Somehow it just never worked properly! In aq many clans can't last longer than a few weeks, some are such sore losers they rather quit after a couple of defeats etc, so it is really hard for league admins to achieve the most important goal when hosting a league - finish with all matchdays played! With this league, story is a bit different, although similar problems from the past came crawling back...
Most credits definately go to Day1 for starting this whole thing! He wanted this league to happen and did the best thing he could - get other active players to help him with it. And people responded like never before; several players joined the admin team, clans signed up, website was announced (sadly it still isn't there, but is now just a simple text one which is at least very functional),... People digged it and accepted it very quickly. The league that is. And that just shows how much the scene needed some competition.
So after a couple of weeks there were 20 clans signed up and the league was ready to kick off! And so it did! There are two matchdays a week, first from monday to thursday and second from thursday to sunday. Yes, thursday is multimatchdayish, brilliant eh?! Clanleaders must schedule clanwars at least one day before it is played and an admin must be present so he can do a cheat check :) Clan recieves 3 points for winning a match, 1 for drawing and 0 for losing it. Football style!
Of course there were some casualties after a few weeks - some clans folded or quit the league, but were replaced by other clans that also wanted to be a part of it. Well, there is not much active clans left so eventually league got shortened to 18 clans. Nevertheless, ranking table was formed, and after 12 matchdays top3 spots do not surprise me - clan pr0fessionals, Armageddon and Ambush!
OK I must also mention the hard-working admins (yup - updating website 24/7, adminning games, listen randoms whine etc): Day1, Durden, imeiz, Mutu, Septique, mmZ, DoDzy, Mutu, Skanda, Titan, Stric, Keketin!!! Thumbs up y'all!

Congrats. And I'm really glad that people who were the cancer of the scene back then turned to help keeping this whole thing captive, cheers to Day1.
